Just thought I'd pass this along. I found another commercial product whose plastic lids fit regular mouth canning jars for refrigerator use or dry storage. It is a Spanish labeled mayonnaise, Tio Santi brand. I bought mine at the discount grocery "Save-a-Lot", sister chain to "Shop 'n' Save." I think these stores are only in a limited portion of the Midwest. Tio Santi might be one of their store brands, so I'm not sure if it can be found elsewhere. It's in the Latino aisle anyway.

The mayonnaise has a tiny bit of lime juice, so consider that taste before buying.
What else has lids that can go onto canning jars? Has anyone come across some that fit wide mouth?
